About... Linda Alice Dewey

Born into a family with a metaphysical belief system, Dewey was taught that "there are no such things as ghosts." But in 1987, she discovered a different sort of metaphysics, commencing a new spiritual journey that developed her belief system and spiritual skills. These include high spiritual listening or channeling, mediumship, psychometry, face reading and general readings.

Linda teaches metaphysical and book-marketing workshops. Current writing projects include adapting AARON'S CROSSING to the stage in a PHANTOM-like musical with her own original music, and a new book-"The Hell in Helen"-about a woman who haunted her home in 2007, was a flapper in the Roaring Twenties and became involved with men in the Capone Mob in the Thirties.

She has signed with The Literary Group's Frank Weimann (FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS) to write an extensive work on WWII's Kassel Mission--when the Eighth Air Force suffered its greatest loss in a single day's battle by any group from a single air base--and it was completely covered-up. Her father piloted one of the few B-24 Liberator bombers to return to England safely. Together with other veterans of the mission, he founded the Kassel Mission Historical Society, (http://www.kasselmission.com) , a world-wide non-profit organization, of which Linda is now president.

Linda travels on speaking tours about the Kassel Mission as well as her two current books.

Dewey has been a guest writer for local newspapers and on the staff for AbsoluteWrite.com. First self-published in 2005, she sold thousands of copies of "Aaron's Crossing: An Inspiring True Ghost Story" herself. The book was picked up by Hampton Roads publishing and re-released in 2006. Her second book, "The Ghost Who Would Not Die" will be released October 1, 2008.

Prior to writing, Linda taught in public schools for nearly twenty years. In the 1980's, she wrote and produced music jingles for radio and television in Michigan and Arizona. An accomplished musician, composer and singer, she is also fine artist whose works have sold throughout the country. She has two grown sons and a daughter-in-law and a grandson. Dewey resides in northern Michigan in the cottage where Jacobs first contacted her, just a mile from the wooded cemetery where she first encountered the ghost of Aaron "Burke."
