Readers' Comments
"The narrative's vernacular is delightful and authentic, and the twists and turns of the story could not be invented. The ending is heartening, while the total sum of the book leaves the reader with a new awareness of life, death, what it means to love from the heart, and the true meaning of forgiveness."
- A. Merizon, Frankfurt, MI.
"Linda Alice Dewey really takes a plunge with this narrative of the spirit world. I was constantly amazed that it was all coming from her true-life experience. An extraordinary work."
- B. Jones, Glen Arbor, MI.
"AARON'S CROSSING is a warmhearted search of the soul ... I laughed and cried and have been searching my soul ever since I finished it two years ago."
- B. Kausler, Traverse City, MI.
"In spare yet emotional language, Linda Alice Dewey presents one of the most unusual 'as told to' memoirs I've ever read. This ghost story is both spooky and redemptive, and it has the uncanny ring of truth; the plentiful details of Aaron's 'life' as a ghost are especially fascinating. But unlike most ghost stories which aim chiefly to give people goose bumps, this one presents a hard-won, heartfelt lesson about the need to face personal shortcomings and heal relationships in order to 'cross over' into a more peaceful existence — regardless of how long it takes."

"Linda Dewey has credibly constructed a fascinating account of her encounter with a ghost in a local cemetery. It is a remarkable story that will stay with you, portrayed with great dialogue, description ... [AARON'S CROSSING] is definitely a page turner!"

"Your book has been quite a labor of love for you. I enjoyed reading your proofs and your thoughts and your manuscript. I am anxious to see [AARON'S CROSSING] in print. I cannot wait to read it again. When I read it I felt the pain of the small child being carried away from his mother. I could feel the loss he felt of his mother, and the lack of his fathers love. I could feel Aaron sitting on your bed and feel him travel with you to Arizona. I could feel your anxiety and your need to help this soul."
- D. Fahey, Sacramento, CA.
"In a world of such gloom, this story could be very inspiring and give lots of hope! I'll send it on, this is a story that needs to be told and I doubt anyone could start reading [AARON'S CROSSING] without finishing!"
- J. LeGere
"A touching story of friendship and compassion across the veil between life and death!"
- L. Murphy, Traverse City, MI.
"[AARON'S CROSSING] is not a ghost story. It is a story about growth, relationships and understanding one's self. I learned so much about myself, about relationships as well as creating stronger relationship with my daughter. I never read...[but] I could not put the book down."
- T. Taghon, Empire, MI.
"An amazing story, written very well and intriguing! I have always wondered what it would be like to have a bond with a 'ghost'...fascinating, especially for a non-fiction book. Thank you for writing about Aaron's experience!"
- A.A., Scottsdale, AZ.
"This is an unusual and fascinating book about a subject that interests everyone - life after death. Aaron, of the title, is a ghost. The first 2/3’s of the book is Aaron’s account of his life and death, a beautifully written and exciting tale of a young Irish child, “kidnapped” by his father and brought to America around the turn of the century. The last third of the book is about the author’s involvement with Aaron and her efforts to help him “cross” to the other side."

Both times I read the book I felt as though I was right along side Aaron through his journey. I couldn't wait to get home and start reading. I believe that was on a Thursday evening. I finished it Friday!! I enjoyed the talk you gave...at GT women's night out.

I enjoyed your book, "Aaron's Crossing". It was interesting, touching and a very believable read. I like your style of writing and enjoyed the story immensely. Thank God Aaron found you and has now found peace with his loved ones. Both of you were able to benefit from the relationship...that's what is so interesting. I'll be sure to keep my eye out for your next one. Good luck and continued success.

Linda Alice Dewey has a beautiful heart and some great insight; and if you look back to the greatest Christian teacher you will find confirmation of her insight and a great wealth of information about ghosts (the lost souls), spirits (returning souls) and Angels (pure souls that never fell).
