Of all the painting mediums, including water color and oil paint, pastel is the closest to pure pigment. It is known for its vibrant color.  All the original paintings on this site but one ("Solo Flight," an oil painting) are pastel paintings. Commissions can be completed within 1-3 weeks. Always use conservation or museum glass when framing.

Aarons Crossing cover.jpg

Death is never the end of the story…

From a forlorn cemetery in the woods of northern Michigan, an ethereal presence follows the author home. Years later, he returns to channel his perceptions of life and the afterlife to us through her.

In the telling, he shows us where he went wrong in life and how that was finally healed in the afterlife.

Feeling limited in life by a physical handicap and his race, Jacobs (with an S) found in the afterlife that none of that mattered when it came to being able to make a difference. Blaming himself for sitting around during his lifetime and letting things happen without protest, he determines not to let that happen any more, even if he is a ghost. He teaches that people need to know that they matter, but they need to do things that matter, too. Therein lies one’s life purpose.
